How much does a KONTIO home cost?
We design every KONTIO home individually, so we price each project separately too. For guidance (2026 prices, excl. VAT, per m² of floor area):
Load-bearing walls, partitions, ceiling/floor structure, roof system, windows and exterior doors, assembly. The most cost-effective option if you want to finish the interior yourselves or with trusted local tradespeople.
From design to the keys in your hand — including interior installations, flooring, bathrooms and complete interior finishing.
Prices exclude the substructure (foundation slab), land and utility connections. We’ll prepare an exact quote for you free of charge, based on your plot and your vision.
What drives the price
- Size and layout. Floor area, number of storeys, a loft, and the shape of the footprint — the more complex the shape, the more joints and labour it takes.
- Scope of delivery. The log structure alone, a closed shell, or a turnkey home — the scope of interior work and installations is what makes the biggest difference in price.
- Finish level. The standard of windows, flooring, bathrooms, kitchen and other fittings on a turnkey home.
- Shape and custom design. Combinations with glass, stone or steel, unusual shapes and large galleries add cost compared with a standard catalogue model.
- Plot and access. Terrain slope, access for assembly, and distance to the building site.
- Additional structures. A garage, storage shed or garden house, built in the same technology, is priced separately.

What the prices don’t include
The substructure (foundation slab), land, utility connections, project and engineering work beyond the home’s design, and any paved areas or fencing. We’re happy to include all of this in a specific quote for your plot.
